RedDotNet adds NFC (Near Field Communications) capability to its kiosk family.
The fully integrated antenna can read NFC compatible phones and NFC tags up to 3centimeters from the front of the kiosk. Read/write, peer to peer and card emulation modes are supported (ISO 14443 and ISO 18092). A secure option is also available with four SAM (Secure Access Module) slots.
NFC enabled cell phones will enable many new services such as mobile wallet based payment systems, rewards programs, coupon dispensing, ticket dispensing and access keys.
